Rick R. Redalen, M.D., CEO of Quest Global Benefits, to serve on the Rural Health Task Force
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Department of Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller has announced the appointment of Rick R. Redalen, M.D., CEO of Quest Global Benefits, to serve on the Rural Health Task Force. The purpose of the task force is to assist the Texas Rural Health and Economic Development Advisory Council in its efforts to expand and improve access to health care in rural areas of the state.
According to Commissioner Miller, Texas needs Dr. Redalen’s leadership and expertise to help ensure stability and growth in rural areas, which contribute significantly to the economy and quality of life in Texas.
Dr. Redalen stated, “I am proud to serve on the Rural Health Task Force and am honored by Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller’s appointment.”
The Texas Rural Health and Economic Development Advisory Council provides input on rural policy priorities, including priorities for the use and allocation of resources in the Community Development Block Grant programs and the State Office of Rural Health programs.
