Little Mogadishu, Right Here in the United States

I have spent a good part of my life in Minneapolis and have had the opportunity to talk to many people in Minneapolis lately. I asked why they are so determined to put Muslims in Congress. I cannot seem to find any Minneapolis people outside of their Somali community that agree with having Muslim leaders in congress.

I thought perhaps the Minnesota people are so deluged with Somalis that perhaps that is the contingency putting Somalis into Congress. When you have a small population such as Minnesota and suddenly deluge them with another demographic such as Somalis, why is it they do not speak up? The reply is that it is not safe to speak out against Islam. Even the Muslims are silent when it comes to speaking out against their own faith.

So do we want a faith instilled in our country where if you do not accept the faith, you will be executed? Are Americans so naïve they will not understand the differences in beliefs until their first young female comes home with her genitals cut off from female circumcision, a victim of another perverse ideology? I would like to explain something to you. I have had many Muslim nurses over the past five years. When I ask them about the verses of the sword, they say they do not believe in killing infidels. When I ask them how do they determine what part of the Koran (Quran) to believe, they do not have an answer.

Many Muslims are becoming more moderate. I think most of them want the same things most Americans want. They want peace and freedom. These are two luxuries they did not have in Somalia. Please understand that most Somalis in the United States of America want the rights, freedoms and privileges of becoming an American, rights granted to them the same as all Americans once they become legal citizens.

Unfortunately America grants some of these rights to people who do not want to become citizens of the United States other than for reasons of subterfuge. We have granted them so many rights; we even protect them in our court systems when they are trying to leave our country to fight for ISIS. Why do we do this? Why not let all Americans go who want to leave our country to fight for a foreign power against us? Do not try to keep hateful people here. And if they go fight against us on foreign soil why bring them back? Leave them there. Do not bring them back to face American justice that drags on forever at the expense of the American taxpayer.

Perhaps if we start providing some Middle Eastern justice we would be more successful in preventing this. If a person wants to leave the United States and fight for ISIS, would it be dissuasive to simply cut off a hand? Perhaps this is the justice we need to enact if someone tries to hurt one of our police officers. Just cut off their dominant hand and I would bet our officers would become safer over night. It is just a thought and perhaps too radical for American people until they get tired of chaos in their streets with the destruction of their property for which the radicals have never worked. Time to wake up America.
