Time to Wake Up America

Have you had your morning coffee, America? If not, it is time to chug several cups and try to wake up. We can no longer sit on our asses all day idly watching atrocities happen to other people and do nothing about it. Just because we are currently not the focus, we or our children soon will be.

Since when did we become a country that no longer allows freedom of speech? When did we become a country where people with masks on can run around the streets like the Lone Ranger and attack innocent people who do not share the same beliefs? It is time to begin offering them the treatment they offer innocent civilians. We need to give our police officers the power to deal with these people the way they will understand. The use of deadly force is indicated. Isn’t it?

How about the man surrendering after shooting six police officers in Philadelphia? Why not shoot the SOB? Why tie up our court systems with people such as this. The Philadelphians jeering our officers at that scene should feel shame. They should also feel fear when our officers choose not to show up to offer them protection when they suddenly request and need it. Will these sorry examples of Americans jeer then?

I mentioned using a little more drastic punishment if our police officers are constantly under threat. I suggested cutting off a dominant hand. We could even do it in surgery with sterile technique. Even offer a bandage. Why not? Do we want to become a society of lawlessness? Do we want to give rebels more rights than innocent citizens have?

I listened to a Saudi Arabian citizen questioned one day about how it feels to live in such a barbaric culture. He mentioned beheading for rape, cutting a hand off for stealing and the death penalty for exercises against the government.

The Saudi was truly astounded. He said the United States of America is the most barbaric country in the world. Americans put up with rape on a daily basis. We constantly have our children abducted. Anyone can steal anything with little punishment. Anyone can assault someone with few if any consequences.

He says this does not happen in Saudi Arabia. We do not have prisons filled with hundreds of thousands of Saudis taken care of by our people. That does not happen. America seems to think it is just fine for people to do almost anything without repercussions or consequences. Is this what freedom brings? Then I do not want freedom. I want the protections our country gives its citizens. I want the peace and tranquility of Saudi Arabia where anyone can walk down any street in safety. Take your choice, America. Do you have the safety you want?

The Saudi said, “I personally think many Americans would choose our system of justice.” What do you think? All this comes from a Saudi whose judicial system we consider barbaric. Is it? Or are we, the Americans, the barbarians?

God bless you America, even those of you who are still sleeping and perpetually waiting for some of our forefathers to wake up from the grave and bring us back some sanity.

God bless you all from the Maverick Doctor,
