The following is from Apple News:
Workplace drama at the DOJ: Over 1,100 former Department of Justice officials signed an open letter calling for Attorney General William Barr to resign after senior department officials intervened to reduce a sentencing recommendation for former Trump adviser, Roger Stone. The signatories argue Barr’s actions flouted the principle of “equal justice under the law,” but acknowledge they have “little expectation” he will actually step down.
Why would they not expect our Attorney General, William Barr to step down just because they requested it? I guess the obvious reason is that none of the DOJ officials stepped down when caught in their lies. Neither did the members of the FBI. Imagine that, all you need do in our country to not be convicted of perjury is to be a member of our country’s DOJ or FBI. Yet, these people do so with impunity because they are all above the laws that our country’s citizens are required to obey.
What happens when you do not belong to one of our country’s alphabet organizations? The answer is obvious. You get nine years in prison the same as Roger Stone, a confidant of President Trump’s.

Over 1,100 former DOJ officials say Attorney General Bill Barr must resign. The officials argue Barr is setting a dangerous precedent in allowing the Department of Justice to become politicized. I personally think the key word in this BS is “former”. If this is so important, why wouldn’t current DOJ members send this out. Because they know it is illegal, so we have no punishment for them. It was senior department officials that realized the punishment they handed down was extremely severe considering the crime.
Consider again the following:
Over 1,100 former US Department of Justice officials (DOJ) have signed an open letter calling for Attorney General Bill Barr to resign after senior department officials intervened to reduce a sentencing recommendation for Donald Trump’s friend Roger Stone.
“Each of us strongly condemns President Trump’s and Attorney General Barr’s interference in the fair administration of justice,” the former Justice Department officials wrote in an open letter published Sunday, calling Barr’s actions “a grave threat to the fair administration of justice.” Their admonishment does not include the FBI or DOJ. I guess their ranking is above that pay grade. Isn’t this kind of like a defendant getting to pick out their own jury?
Can you imagine something like that being called interference in fair administration of justice? What did they call it to get FISA warrants through lies? It wasn’t interference when they created all types of falsehoods to satisfy the ends to their means.
On Monday, federal prosecutors recommended that Stone — a longtime GOP operative who was convicted in November of making false statements to Congress, obstructing an official proceeding, and witness tampering — receive a seven- to nine-year prison sentence for these crimes.
Trump was outraged by the recommendation, something he made clear through a series of late night tweets, in which he slammed the sentence as “very unfair.”
POTUS DJ Trump had every reason to be outraged. If Roger Stone had been a Democrat or a friend of Adam Schiff’s, Jerry Nadler’s or Nancy Pelosi’s, they would have been willing to overlook what they perceived as lies. Of course, Adam Schiff would not have known a lie from the truth as he has proven to the American people time and time again. He looks at his confabulations and treats them as TRUTHS.
